3 IDIOTS

CHARACTERS:

SUMMARY:

The film starts with Farhan Qureshi ( Madhavan) and Raju Rastogi’s ( sharman Joshi) quest to find their long lost friend Rancchordas Shyamaldas Chanchard also known as Rancho (Amir Khan) with the help of a college nerd Chatur Ramalingam ( Omi Vaidya). While on the way to find Rancho, the film takes us to their life in college where Rancho was an extremely talented student filled with out of the mill philosophies. This made the college principal Viru Sahastrabudhhe’s (Boman Irani) ire. The film portrays that Rancho has the capability to do the impossible possible. He convinced his room mate and best friend Farhan to convince his father to take wildlife photography as well as nursing his suicide attempted friend Raju. He even befriends their principal’s daughter Piya (Kareena Kapoor) and helps her to realize that the guy whom she plans to marry is an absolute jerk. With plots and subplots it was proved that Rancho can outsmart any student and won their principal’s affection.

However after changing everyone’s life after graduation Rancho vanishes. Farhan and Raju’s quest begins here. As told earlier most of the film is done in flashback but the present situations also bring a comic relief. Anyways, after spoiling Pia’s marriage and tolerating Chatur’s narcissist comments. The two friends finally met Rancho who is a famous scientist Phunsuk Wangru.

The film, inspite of being a comedy carries a message and it’s about humanity and the rat race. The film is going to stay in your mind for a long time.

IMPLICATIONS:

For me, this movie implies wisdom about life. Gain knowledge and you will succeed. Apply every klnowledge you have in good way. Help other people to guide them about life. You'll be happy if you are successful and still has true friends even after lots of years.

REACTION:

These days people mind is already set to be succesful, but often we have a wrong way of percieving life, we chase success but then when it comes to knowledge, we are poor. For me, this film is worth rewarding for it guides us of what life should be, what it will gives us in the future if we follow the right perception to life.

 IMPLICATIONS:

Tron movie implies wisdom in computer but we should also think of what your creation could affect you and the people. So create and input any data in the computer or disc, one should know first the possible result that it has.

REACTION:

For me, the film will reminds us to be careful of anything that we create in the computer system or any input data in the disc because this might result to a negative one, so it is important for us to know the possible results so that if there is possible negative one, you should not continue, and if you ever continue, you should know the way out of it.

THE HACKERS

CHARACTERS:

SUMMARY:

In this high-tech thriller, Dade Murphy has been fascinated with computers all his life; at the age of 11, he was able to break into the computer network of several top Wall Street investment and banking firms, and he nearly caused a major stock market crash in the process. As punishment, Dade was forbidden to use a computer until his 18th birthday, but now that he's of age, he's diving back into his PC head first. Dade meets up with a group of fellow hackers: tough-talking cyber gamer Kate, aka Acid Burn, junior hacker, born prankster Cereal Killer, Nikon, named for his photographic memory, and telephone expert Phantom Phreak. Dade and his pals aren't out to destroy systems or do cybercrime for profit; they simply want to know more about the systems they encounter, and they like raising some good-natured havoc. But in their travels through cyberspace, they discover The Plague, a former hacker turned computer security expert with a huge multinational corporation. The Plague has not only done the unthinkable and gone into anti-hacker enforcement, he's secretly allied himself with a group of criminals and is using his expertise to drain funds from corporate bank accounts and transfer them to himself and his mistress, Margo. The Plague is also smart enough to leave clues that would lead investigators to someone else -- in this case, Dade and his friends -- and has a secret weapon at his disposal, a computer virus that could wipe out the entire world wide web in a matter of minutes. Several sequences for Hackers were shot at New York City's Stuyvesant High School, where coincidentally several months after filming, several students were arrested by F.B.I. agents for their involvement in computer hacking. Mark Deming, Rovi.

IMPLICATIOPNS:

In this movie, "The Hackers" implies a correct attitude in using a computer. Even if your good at it, you shoudnt use your computer ability in bad ways so that you cant harm other people.

REACTION:

There are lots of people already that are using computer these days, some are already very good at it. With all the things happening these days in this world, this film will help us realize the importance of of honesty in cyberworld, it guiedes us whats the right thing to do.

And Ishaan just cannot seem to get anything right in class. When he gets into far more trouble than his parents can handle, he is packed off to a boarding school to 'be disciplined'. Things are no different at his new school, and Ishaan has to contend with the added trauma of separation from his family. He breaks all the rules of 'how things are done' by asking them to think, dream and imagine, and all the children respond with enthusiasm, all except Ishaan. Nikumbh soon realizes that Ishaan is very unhappy, and he sets out to discover why. With time, patience and care, he ultimately helps Ishaan find himself.

IMPLICATIONS:

The movie implies care and understanding among all people. One should be considerate and helpful to another. We should know and find first the problem before we judge and descriminate so that we could help a certain person's problem.
Its relion to our subject is that, in computer ethics we should anylyze and understand first the problem so that we can solve it and so that we cant hurt other people especially in cyberworld.

REACTION:

For me, this film is an expression of all emotions and attitude especially care and understanding. It is an excellent example for any teacher-student and parents-son relationship, because it demonstrate and show to us how a teacher and parents should react to a student or a son's problem. It should be with care and understanding.
